Folklore is way more Action/Adventure with a little RPG element.

Nick, I generalized single story, but in this case, and it is the only
one without a story, but it still has onlys a single element, that
beingMP mode. I was simply pointing out, while the PS2 kept doing its
thing, the Xbox was creating more gaming modes as does the 360, and
the PS3 seems to be doing the same thing as before.

Keep in mind, many Halo sales were bundles with the Xbox, that's how I
got mine.

All what you listed are some reasons for weak sales, etc, those have
been covered for months now. I am talking about now, with the
exclusives Sony is releasing. Don't you see, they are not selling
these games and there is a reason why, considering they have almost
5.5mil consoles out the door and I gave my reasons which I will again,
what other reason can you think of. I am thinking it is because they
offer no more than a single element to the game, that mostly being a
single story that has little replay value. This in a time now where MP
online gaming is big, and the 360 makes almost all of their games that
mode. Sony is selling exclusives with nothing more than one elemnt to
the game (whether it be MP or single story only).
Read the latest attach rates for the PS3, and give why you think the
games are not selling.

Uhhh... not quite. This is the time when Sony *should* be phasing
out the PS2 entirely, not introducing a *third* redesign. If they're
still trying to push more life into the PS2, then I really don't think
the PS3 is where they want it to be (yet).
I think Nintendo and Microsoft have finished worrying about the PS2
some time ago.

I don't see 1 button combat as being a bad thing. Prince of Persia
Sands of Time had one button combat and it was one of the better games
to come out that year.

So wait a minute OXM hands on with AC demo talked about AC 'marrionette
style' controls , Y is head X and B are left and right arms and the RT
is a modifier for walking /running in stealth ,aka lo-profile mode. So
what gives here??? has it all been changed or is this reviewer unaware
of the different aspects of the control scheme ? Last I heard AC has a
'marrionette' control scheme, not a one-button masher. And you also have
stealth knife that only can be used on an unaware enemy, I think that is
the only (one) button attack. So WTF gives here?

Unfortunately once a game has been saved over you're pretty much out
of luck unless you made a backup copy to a memory card or something.
There are places where you can download game saves though, but you
have to have a USB device to put them on a memory card and then move
them to the console.
These saves are for the original Xbox version, not the 360 but it's
the best I can find right now:

Definitely looked cleaner and played smoother on the 360.
I guess EA is never going to do these consoles seperately. You would think
with their resources they would.

Even worse than that, Namco said, about a year ago, that they have to
sell 500,000 copies to turn a profit.

Blockbuster may not be a viable option for anyone much longer:
Blockbuster Goes Bust
Melanie Lindner, 11.01.07, 3:00 PM ET
It's kind of like a horror movie ...
Blockbuster (nyse: BBI - news - people ) reported disappointing third-
quarter earnings on Thursday causing investors to yank their funds.
The Dallas-based company reported sales decreased to $1.24 billion,
down 5.7% from $1.31 billion in the similar period of 2006. Profits
fell to a net loss of $35 million, or 20 cents per share, compared
with a net loss of $9.6 million, or 5 cents per share in the third
quarter of the prior year.
The company attributes the losses mainly to the closure and sale of
526 company-operated stores. As a result of the movie rental firm's
inability to generate profit, Chairman Jim Keyes announced that
Blockbuster will reduce the number of people currently employed by the
company in an effort to reduce annualized overhead costs by
approximately $45 million.
As if any more proof was need that Blockbuster Total Access program
essentially failed to compete effectively against Netflix (nasdaq:
NFLX - news - people ), Keyes noted that "the company will no longer
be narrowly focused on its online subscriber count but instead will
concentrate on the growth of, and report on, its total
membership." (See: Total Access Blocks Blockbuster)
While Blockbuster struggles to pay its employees and Movie Gallery
(nasdaq: MOVI - news - people ) filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy
protection, it seems Netflix is the reigning champion of the movie
rental industry. The company earned $15.7 million in the third quarter
of 2007, up 22.7% from $12.8 million in the comparable period of 2006.
Michael Patcher of Wedbush Morgan believes that Netflix's increased
market share is partially due to Blockbuster's recent advertising cuts
for the Total Access Program. He explained: "If Netflix advertises the
same, and Blockbuster advertises less, then inevitably more customers
will rent from Netflix." (See: Netflix Harvests A Bumper Crop of Sofa
Spuds)
Blockbuster's stock dropped 20 cents, or 3.8%, to $5.06 on Thursday
and Netflix gained 8 cents, or .3%, to $26.55.
